I spent several days in the quiet surfing village of Sayulita, Mexico for Courtney and Lincoln’s wedding. The days were filled with sand, sun, surfing and laughter. Lincoln said this vacation for him was the “week of 1000 hugs.” I have never seen a couple who surrounded themselves with love and positive energy like Lincoln and Courtney.
I spent a great Sunday afternoon with Crystal and Brian. It was a cold and blustery day but they were troopers and so fun to work with! They came with tons of ideas and we got some great shots, here are a few highlights!
Hard at work!
One of my favorite portraits from Abby and August’s wedding.
Fall is in the air! Sunday River, Maine
Kelsey and Nat’s gorgeous wedding at the Newagon Inn! A thin layer of clouds all day made for a beautiful soft light. I also have some new actions to play with in photoshop which made for a nice warm vintage feel to the wedding.
Abby and August were married on a wharf in South Bristol, Maine. At the end of their ceremony some of their friends lit off fireworks from a boat in the harbor. The box unexpectedly exploded part way through the show! It made for some exciting moments!
I just got back from Alison and Ezra’s wedding in Maine. The weather Gods have smiled on yet another weekend in New England!
The weather, family and friends all came together to make for a perfect wedding for Heather and Noah. Lake Mattawa, MA provided a beautiful backdrop and mother nature even topped it off with an incredible sunset!
Teri and Jay’s engagement session in New London, CT. I’m looking forward to their summer 2014 wedding!
The cows decided to come say hello!
Kate and Tom’s wedding took place on a beautiful summer day in central Maine. Kate is one of those people who does not stop smiling. It makes my job very easy!
Who says you can’t get great people pictures when it rains? Rochelle and Justin are busy people, and they had one day free to take their engagement photos. Of course that one day was the only one that rained in a two week span. So off we went, not knowing what to expect. We ended up on a rocky section of shore on the side of a lake, and the ripples of the rain hitting the surface were absolutely beautiful. These pictures wouldn’t had been as nice had it been a sunny day!
Shamsa and Marco were married in Simsbury, CT. This wedding was gorgeous and was by far the biggest wedding I have ever been a part of. It was truly a multicultural celebration. Shamsa had family come from all over the United States and from as far as Pakistan. Marco’s family hails from Mexico and the southwestern United States. In all there were over 400 people in attendance!
I was a little nervous since this was my first time photographing a traditional Muslim wedding ceremony and didn’t know what to expect or where to place myself to get the best shots, but with the help of Shamsa’s wedding coordinator I made some beautiful photos!
Rachel and David have lived by the ocean their whole lives, so it was only fitting that they were married at point lookout, a venue that is perched high on a hill overlooking Penobscot Bay, Maine.
